CNC Grinder - Nights

We are looking for CNC Machinists to join one of our Shift teams at Boeing Sheffield. The successful candidate will perform a range of duties including setting-up and operating CNC grinding machines, loading and operating machines efficiently, and recognizing and deploying tooling. We celebrate our unique way of transforming our lean Production System to align the site’s safety, quality and continuous improvement plans.

Requirements

• Skilled, time-served engineer with experience of setting and operating CNC machines
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
• Understands and can perform workshift and tool wear compensation / offsets
• Communicates honestly, professionally, and respectfully with others
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good level of numeracy and literacy
• Good level of IT skills
• Either: Time served as machinist with experience of CNC machines, or a HNC qualified machinist qualification is desirable
