Experienced Calibration Technician to join our Metrology team in Kennedy Space Center, FL. Responsible for calibrating, adjusting, certifying, maintaining, and repairing Measurement Test & Equipment (MT&E)/process equipment. Metrology and logistics responsibilities, including calibration services, Test Asset Management, and Property Management.
Requirements
- Plan, check, set up, and operate Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment
- Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results
- Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
- Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork
- Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list, hot list, or as assigned by lead technician
- Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear
- Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes
- Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes
- Work with other employees engaged in the calibration and certification of M&TE, and assist in the development of new calibration processes and procedures
- Perform computations necessary to analyze measurement test results
- Perform logistics associated with routing calibrated assets to remote Boeing labs and suppliers for calibration services
- Perform tasks associated with Test Asset Management and Property Management including asset tagging, redeployment, storage and surplus
