Senior Embedded Systems Design Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Design Engineer to join our multi-disciplined engineering team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have experience in integration of embedded systems, including software, firmware, and electronics, and will be responsible for designing, integrating, and testing Advanced Concepts for the DoD.

Requirements

• Develop overall embedded systems architecture
• Support firmware and software research development projects
• Work in a team environment to develop specifications of firmware and software architectures
• Research required algorithms and implementation approach
• Design and validate implementation of all firmware components
• Integrate and synthesize firmware for the target platform
• Develop and maintain software code
• Integrate software into a fully functional software system
• Troubleshoot basic firmware and software issues
• Develop test procedures and document test results to ensure embedded system requirements are met
