Senior Systems Safety Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Systems Safety Engineer to join the System Safety Engineering Team in Mesa, AZ, supporting the Attack Programs. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of System Safety experience, rotorcraft safety experience (ARP 4761 and MIL STD 882E), and/or AH-64E platform knowledge. The role involves assessing hazards across various subsystems, developing System Safety Program Plans, and collaborating with government, customer, and program domain experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
• 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Level 4)
• 5+ years of experience in systems, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Safety, Systems Engineering, and/or Product Design experience
• 5+ years of experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation, and completion
