Software Developer (Mid Level or Senior), Autonomy and Mission Planning

The Boeing Company is seeking Software Engineer- Developer (Mid Level or Senior) to support our Phantom Works Advanced Mission Planning team located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.

Requirements

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
• Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products
• Lead junior engineers in software development
• Perform use case development for software requirements
• Perform software architecture trade studies and modifications to meet new requirements
• Develop interface definitions
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Participate in peer reviews
• Support system and flight testing
• Create software documentation
