Job Description
Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler [Forklift Operator]. The responsibilities include receiving, selecting, and loading materials, operating a forklift safely and efficiently, and providing basic customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Basic: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
- Preferred: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with building materials
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
