Job Description
The finance and administration department is the engine behind a bank’s success, driving financial health and operational efficiency. The Capital Analyst II is primarily responsible for measuring, assessing, and reporting on capital and Capital Stress Testing for the bank, working directly with the Bank’s Treasurer.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in MIS, Math, Statistics, Financial or Econometric Modeling, Business Analytics, or other applied quantitative discipline
- 5 years’ experience with data aggregation/modelling tools such as R, SAS, Python, Excel/VBA, Matlab or comparable software
- Strong ability to design and script complex simulation models
- Strong ability to aggregate and synthesize complex data from multiple sources
- Strong understanding of Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Ability to think strategically about the Bank’s Capital planning and Stress Testing methodologies
