Boliden is seeking an operational, engaged, and goal-oriented Department Director to manage and maintain the company's abandoned mine areas, ensuring high requirements for safety, environment, and social impact.

Requirements

• University or college degree in environmental science, water, or civil engineering
• Several years of experience in a leading role, preferably with responsibility for complex and long-term operations
• Experience with after-treatment projects and good understanding of the operation of dams and water treatment plants
• Good knowledge of Swedish environmental legislation and its practical application
• Ability to make decisions with a long-term perspective where safety, environment, and business are balanced
• Ability to speak and write good Swedish and English
• B-class driving license
