Bombardier is seeking a Professional Senior, Engineering for the FBW & Secondary Flight Control Engineering team to ensure a sustaining program while preparing for future challenges and demands. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and a minimum of 7 years' experience in aerospace related field.
Requirements
- Perform the integration of the FBW & Secondary Flight Controls system on the aircraft.
- Support the development of concepts, design approach and philosophy with the Flight Control system supplier.
- Perform/Review analysis to evaluate concepts feasibility.
- Develop, validate and verify technical requirements of the Flight Control System.
- Review/Prepare technical requirements
- Review/Prepare test procedures
- Execute test rig and/or aircraft testing
- Review/Prepare test reports in support of certification activities
- Resolve problems arising from in-service aircraft.
- Troubleshooting, root cause determination, corrective action definition and execution
- Ensure compliance to the ARP4754 development process.
- Support trade off studies and life cycle cost analysis for future programs.
- Ensure the design process and the resulting equipment implementation is in line with Bombardier's requirements and standards.
