Bombardier is seeking a Professional, Engineering (Aircraft Loads) to conduct simulations and analyses to determine aircraft design loads. The successful candidate will develop and maintain models, contribute to the creation of automated frameworks, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant aerospace industry experience in external loads analysis
- Strong programming skills in C++, Fortran, MATLAB, and Python
- Knowledge in numerical and scientific computing
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Experience with software development using version control systems
- Solid understanding of aircraft flight dynamics, aeroelastic phenomena, and unsteady aerodynamics
- Familiarity with finite elements analysis tools (e.g., Nastran)
- Knowledge of time/frequency domain unsteady aerodynamics
- Experience with fly-by-wire systems and control law integration
- Understanding of airworthiness regulations and certification documentation
- Eligibility for Canadian Control Good Clearance
