Senior Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Bombardier. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Legal Services for Aftermarket Services & Corporate Strategy and be responsible for leading strategic files related to the aviation aftermarket business, managing claims and potentially litigious matters, and proactively managing risk through training and coaching. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience practicing commercial or transactional law or commercial litigation, with at least 3-4 years of practice within a renowned law firm.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Ontario or Québec Bar
• Business degree an asset
• Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing commercial or transactional law or commercial litigation
• At least 3-4 years of practice within a renowned law firm
• Leadership and autonomy
• Excellent legal and business acumen
• Strong negotiations, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Perfectly bilingual (French and English), both verbally and in writing
