Bombardier is seeking a Technician, Avionics/Electronics to join their team at the Opa Locka Service Center. The ideal candidate will have experience with avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems. Requirements
- Avionics electric A/C Technical School or another substantiated equivalent
- 2 years avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
- Basic PC skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and aircraft status
- Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools
- Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
- Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays and be able to work in seasonal and inclement weather outside
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable)
- A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft)
- Airframe Certification, Powerplant Certification, or Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate
- Experience on corporate jet aircraft and commercial aircraft
