Job Description
Karen Millen is a renowned premium womenswear brand seeking an Assistant Designer to research and develop soft woven designs, working closely with Senior Designers to create seasonal collections. The role requires a strong understanding of development processes, artwork creation, and product lifecycle management, with a passion for artisanal techniques and textile craftsmanship. This is a fast-paced environment that thrives on change, innovation, and pace.
Requirements
- Design-based degree
- Previous experience as a Design Assistant in soft wovens, embellishment, or embroidery
- Strong research and development skills
- Ability to work at pace with a flexible and solution-focused mindset
- Genuine passion for textiles, craft, and the refined aesthetic of Karen Millen
