Job Description
We are seeking an R&D Technician to assemble, install, and fit powerplant/engine structures, instrumentation, and subsystem components with precision. The ideal candidate will have a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License and experience in aircraft assembly, MRO, or powerplant installations.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
- Experience in aircraft assembly, MRO, or powerplant installations
- Expertise in mechanical assembly: shimming, rigging, alignment, and sealant application
- Skilled at interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and process specifications
- Familiar with AS9100/AS9110 quality standards and powerplant documentation
- Capable of working independently, meeting takt-time, and adapting to priority shifts
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in PPE-required areas
