Data Engineer, Lead

Booz Allen is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to architect, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and platforms that transform complex data into actionable insights. The role requires 5+ years of experience with building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL development, and working with cloud services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with building and maintaining data pipelines
• 5+ years of experience with ETL development in Java
• 5+ years of experience with ETL development NiFi, Python, or Scala
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or Kafka
• Experience with AWS services, including RDS and Aurora
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of hire
