Job Description
BorgWarner is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join as Maintenance Team Leader at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal. The successful candidate will lead, motivate, and support the development of team members, train new members, and provide technical assistance to production equipment.
Requirements
- Academic background in Mechanics, electromechanics, electronics, electrical, industrial maintenance, automation, programming, robotics or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role will be valued
- Solid knowledge of the operation of machines (mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, electricity, test equipment)
- Interpretation of mechanical, pneumatics and electrical schematics
- Knowledge in maintenance metrics (MTTR, MTBF, Down Time, Availability)
- Problem Solving (5W; Ishikawa; PDCA; 8D) (preferred)
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards
- Ability to plan, anticipate, and organize
- Situational adaptability
