Job Description
Boscov's is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to join its maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of HVAC and general building repair/maintenance experience, a universal certificate, and the ability to work with minimal direction.
Requirements
- Use of Maintenance background to launch an exciting career in the Maintenance Division
- Ensuring the safety and functionality of Boscov's stores
- Maintenance and repair of store buildings
- Cleaning and organizing maintenance areas
- Performing electrical work up to 480 vac/3 phase
- Lighting repairs and replacements
- Maintaining machinery, equipment, and tools
- Applying paint, varnish, and stain
- Repairing drywall and other surface materials
- Minor roofing repairs and maintenance
- Adjusting and maintaining doors and door openers
- Repairing and patching floor surfaces
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing HVAC equipment
- Servicing and replacing plumbing fixtures
- Electrical generator inspections and minor repairs
