Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) is seeking a full-time Billing Coordinator to join our Patients Finance team.
Requirements
- Process claims by accurate and timely entry of patient claim data into the Practice Management (PM) system.
- Timely submission of claims generated in the PM system to Medicaid, Medicare and third-party payers following the submission procedure;
- Verify patient benefits to ensure accurate billing and maintain accurate benefit information as needed.
- Active and frequent communication with third-party provider representatives on billing procedures.
- Cross training required by department and/or Payor.
- Perform other billing and administrative related duties as required or assigned by the Patient Finance Manager, Patient Billing Supervisor, and/or Billing Team Leader.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
