Job Description
Boston Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to play a critical role in their Research and Development (R&D) and Quality Control (QC) operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and testing proprietary carbon fiber-based materials, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards.
Requirements
- Operate, maintain, and execute varied testing on raw materials, in-process samples using specialized lab equipment
- Prepare samples, including composite layup, cutting, polishing, and mounting
- Assist scientists and engineers with experimental setups, material mixing, formulation preparation, and small-scale batch processing
- Monitor and record critical processing parameters during pilot and production runs
- Accurately record, manage, and analyze experimental and quality control data
