Senior Chemist, Interfacial Engineering

Boston Materials produces advanced materials with enhanced energy transfer properties using its patented Z-axis Carbon Fiber technology. The Company's products solve critical performance bottlenecks in applications spanning thermal, electrical, and structural use cases. The company is seeking a Senior Chemist to join its Liquid Metal Thermal Interface Materials Team to develop novel TIMs designed to enhance the performance and cooling efficiency of advanced electronics.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of organic/inorganic interfacial engineering.
• Experience with materials development for the electronics industry is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in the research and development of thermal interface materials or related technologies.
• Proficiency in designing and conducting experiments, data analysis, and material characterization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends.
