Manufacturing Technician II position at Boston Scientific, responsible for troubleshooting and solving equipment and process problems, performing equipment setup and maintenance, and supporting manufacturing engineers in value improvement projects.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Proven reliability with a strong attendance record and consistent work ethic
- Proactive communicator and team player who seeks opportunities to improve processes and resolve issues collaboratively
- Previous technical line support experience in the high-volume Medical Device manufacturing
- Previous experiences in working with Manufacturing Automation
- Familiar with PLC wiring and control troubleshooting
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve high-level equipment and process issues
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities; able to guide junior technicians and influence cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ownership of equipment reliability, performance, and long-term corrective actions
