We are looking for a Master Scheduler to coordinate and develop the master production plan, ensuring compliance with customer requirements; material availability, production capacity, and inventory objectives, optimizing resources, and minimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or related field, and 3+ years of experience in production planning or master scheduling in manufacturing environments. Requirements
- Develop and maintain the master production plan based on customer demand, forecasts, and sales orders.
- Coordinate with the purchasing, production, engineering, and logistics departments to ensure the feasibility of the production plan.
- Monitor compliance with the plan and adjust as needed based on changes in demand, material availability, or capacity.
- Manage and ensure that work/production orders (PRS) are correctly released and prioritized according to the master plan.
- Analyze and report key business indicators: delivery compliance (OTD), monthly sales, inventory level, programming efficiency (BTS), and others.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align the master production plan with business objectives and installed capabilities.
- Identify supply chain risks and propose proactive solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date ERP/MRP systems with accurate and correct information.
- Optimize inventory to meet customer orders and maintain healthy levels, avoiding both excess and shortage.
- Collaborate in the planning of new products or engineering changes; coordinating the introduction to avoid affecting production flow and customer compliance.
- Develop weekly/monthly product forecasts as needed and/or required.
- Audit the planning process and ensure adherence to established procedures by team members.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the programming/planning system and propose solutions.
- Participate in and support initiatives that improve programming and production efficiency.
- Ensure that teams involved in the production planning process understand the process and tools used.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with current IATF 16949, AS9100, and ISO 14001 standards and customer-specific requirements as applicable.
