Job Description
The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County (BGCSLC) is seeking a Certified Teacher to provide academic instruction to participating 21st Century club members. The role involves delivering core subjects like reading, English, science, and mathematics, utilizing engaging instructional techniques, and supporting student growth. The goal is to create a world-class club experience for youth.
Requirements
- Current Florida Educator's Certificate
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Psychology (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and with supervision
