Job Description
The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s 21st Century Community Learning Center provides educational and enrichment programs for youth in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The 21st Century Teacher's Assistant assists teachers in delivering lessons, providing support to students, and fostering a positive learning environment. This position is a volunteer opportunity, offering the potential for growth and contributing to a strong sense of community.
Requirements
- Must submit to and pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Children & Families.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Prior work experience with youth (afterschool/summer enrichment program).
- Basic understanding of childhood development.
- Excellent communication skills with teachers and parents.
