Student Teacher-Fall 2026

Student Teacher is responsible for helping plan, deliver, and assess lessons in a real-world classroom setting under the guidance of a certified mentor teacher. The position involves collaborating with the mentor teacher, instructing students, and reflecting on teaching practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a teacher education program
• Completion of relevant coursework in pedagogy, child development, and curriculum design
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success
• Willingness to receive constructive feedback and apply it to improve teaching practice
