Substitute Preschool Teacher

Delivers a balanced program of instruction to a class when the assigned instructor is unavailable. Instructs students, implements lesson plans, and maintains accurate records. Provides close supervision of students and communicates with parents, guardians, administration, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required
• Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Nebraska Substitute Teacher Certificate or a Local Substitute Teacher Certificate required
• PEM, CPR, and nationally recognized personal restraint model certification required if subbing in the RTC or select settings
• Background and experience in working with learning disabled and behaviorally impaired learners preferred
• Special Education endorsement preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
