Job Description
Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule. Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles. Maintain accurate and updated records of preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule
- Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles
- Maintain accurate and updated records of preventive maintenance
- Rotate and balance tires, change oil and filters, lubricate vehicle parts, inspect and replace hoses, belts, mirrors, lamps, and maintain all fluid levels
- Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and services
- Diagnose mechanical problems of vehicles
- Promotes high standards of safety and acceptable housekeeping methods in all working areas
- Perform mechanical duties such as a general mechanics functions and recognition and repair of all safety equipment
- Operate engine hoist and forklift as required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
