Job Description
Laars Heating Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate requirements, make recommendations, and manage projects related to Lean Initiatives, Safety, Quality, and Productivity improvement projects.
Requirements
- Development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies
- Management of updates and modifications to existing manufacturing processes
- Creation of cost comparisons and return on investment calculations
- Acting as subject matter expert for interdepartmental projects and initiatives
- Creation of standardized processes and documentation
- Collaboration with quality to create comprehensive control plans and quality checks
- Training and support of production personnel
- Documentation and reporting of process performance and improvement initiatives
- Cross-functional collaboration to resolve process-related issues
- Leadership of Root Cause Failure Analysis efforts
- Coordination of major changes to equipment
