Backend Engineer

Branch is a leading AI-based lending fintech with 50M+ downloads across India and Africa. As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with our Product and Data Science teams to design and maintain multiple technologies, including our API backend, credit scoring and underwriting systems, payments integrations, and operations tools.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain customer-facing and internal products and APIs
• Contribute to technical and product decisions
• Collaborate with engineers across functional areas
• Participate in on-call rotations and operational work
• Continuously improve existing systems
