Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to perform testing on construction materials, provide technical training and certifications, and assist with training and mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will have a strong safety focus, excellent plan reading skills, and state DOT and NICET certifications. Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions and lifting 75+ pounds is required.
Requirements
- A strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Excellent plan reading skills
- A demonstrated math and technical aptitude
- Flexibility to work extended or nontraditional hours as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- State DOT certifications, and/or NICET certifications
- ICC Concrete and Soils Certification preferred or must be willing to get within 90 days of hire
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification Required
- 1+ years of construction materials testing experience
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
