Braun Intertec is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join their North Dakota team. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for preparing proposals, developing geotechnical scopes, and reviewing engineering work. They will also perform engineering analysis, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports.
Requirements
- Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
- Develop and execute whole geotechnical scopes
- Review engineering work of others
- Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies
- Make geotechnical recommendations and prepares engineering reports for senior review
- Understand and manage the need of clients through communications and proposal/project work
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Perform routine aspects of civil engineering assignments
- Perform geotechnical design calculations and sketches
- Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians
- Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, engineers, and architects
- Identify complex problems, possible solutions and take the appropriate action to resolve
- Capable of efficiently and effectively managing project teams
- Oversee and train and/or teach Braun Intertec technical practices
- Supervise and/or mentor junior level staff
- Compile engineering calculations using standard formulas and computer software
- Prepare field reports documenting contractors work methods, test results, and the interpretation of these tests
