Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Currents

Braze is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Currents team, responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving their data export system at scale. The team is highly collaborative and skilled, and the engineer will be working on solving live performance and reliability issues, writing and reviewing code, and guiding junior engineers in SRE best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Five (5) years of experience in any role/occupation/position involving software engineering or site reliability engineering
• Experience with distributed systems, alerting software, programming languages, relational and non-relational databases, data streaming or queuing systems, and continuous integration tools
• Collaboration with engineers through pull requests and code reviews
