Job Description
We are seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the common areas of Continental Safe Haven, a safe haven with 145 beds for individuals experiencing homelessness. The Housekeeper will sweep, mop, wash, dust, and vacuum, as well as perform other related duties.
Requirements
- Comparable work experience
- Experience operating of vacuum cleaner, high speed buffer
- Ability to lift and move furniture, appliances, etc.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade School Diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to stand for several hours during shift and to climb stairs in the event of an emergency
- Experience working with special needs populations (plus)
- Basic knowledge of using a computer (plus)
