Avionics and Electrical Systems Engineer responsible for developing repairs and alterations, defining maintenance specifications, evaluating new avionics technologies, and technical airworthiness management of aircraft avionics, electrical systems, and related components on the Airbus and Embraer aircraft.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Engineering with Avionics/Electrical Systems concentration
- 7+ years of engineering experience relating to Aircraft Avionics and Electrical systems modification, troubleshooting, and repair
- Knowledgeable in the avionics systems architecture and software requirements for Flight Management Systems and aeronautical data link communications systems and protocol
- 5+ years of experience required in technical report writing skills to prepare test plans, test results, electrical load analysis, and regulatory compliance reports
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21, 25, 91, and 121 regulatory requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a Part 121 environment
