The Powerplant Engineer at Breeze Airways is responsible for engineering activity related to aircraft APU, engine, engine systems, and related components. This role supports the company’s aircraft fleet by maintaining airworthiness and regulatory compliance as required by the FAA.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related technical field, or FAA Airframe & Powerplant License with 5+ years of experience in airline power-plant engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience relating to engine, APU, engine systems, and related components
- Fluent in engine data monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- 5+ years of experience in technical report writing skills to prepare test plans, test results, Engine Health Monitoring Program, troubleshooting of aircraft engines, engine systems analysis, and regulatory compliance reports
- 5+ years of experience working in Part 121 and/or 135 airline environment – Technical Services / Engineering department or comparable maintenance and overhaul experience
- Knowledge of powerplant engine systems
