Production Operator

Role Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently handling liquid and dry chemical products, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout all warehouse and transfer operations. This hands-on role involves mixing and blending chemicals, loading and unloading trucks, tankers, and railcars; operating forklifts and other industrial equipment; repackaging and labeling materials; and maintaining precise inventory records.

What You Will Do

Operate and manage process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products in a safe and efficient manner. Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars. Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs. Repackage product into proper containers for storage or shipment.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically capable individual who can work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with chemical operations and be able to pass a forklift operators certification exam.

Requirements

• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or US military experience
• Prior experience in working with chemical operations (2+ years)
• Forklift Operators certification
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions in English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to learn and operate technology-based devices such as smart phones, tablets, computers, PLCs, operational technology equipment, etc.
• Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and or equipment used in the course of work performance
• Wear safety equipment as prescribed by company
• Comply with placarding rules when loading or unloading trucks
