Production Operator

Role Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently handling liquid and dry chemical products, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout all warehouse and transfer operations. This hands-on role involves mixing and blending chemicals, loading and unloading trucks, tankers, and railcars; operating forklifts and other industrial equipment; repackaging and labeling materials; and maintaining precise inventory records.

What You Will Do

Operate and manage process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products in a safe and efficient manner. Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars. Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs. Record amounts of product received or distributed via appropriate computer program.

Requirements

• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or US military experience
• Prior experience in working with chemical operations (2+ years) may be considered if education or service requirements are not fully met
• Possess or able to pass exam to obtain Forklift Operators certification
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions in English and write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to learn and operate technology-based devices such as smart phones, tablets, computers, PLCs, operational technology equipment, etc. to carry out normal business operations
