We are seeking a Building Safety Manager to ensure the Council's compliance with fire and health & safety regulations, including Building Safer Futures. The role involves preparing and commissioning Building Safety Cases, Fire Risk Assessments, and EWS1 certificates, and managing assigned projects to ensure effective safety management across the Council.
Requirements
- Degree in Fire Safety Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Fire Engineers or equivalent
- Experience in preparing Building Safety Cases and Fire Risk Assessments
- Working knowledge of building regulations and fire safety legislation
- Ability to manage complex projects and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
