Physical Education Teacher (2026-2027)

The BRICK Education Network is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with underserved black and brown students and families and is committed to the academic success and personal development of their students. The teacher should have a collaborative mindset, be culturally competent, and be willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Requirements

• Demonstrating a proficiency in working with black and brown students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds
• Creating and maintaining a positive, safe and collaborative classroom environment for students
• Executing the network adopted unit and lesson plans to accelerate student learning and social emotional development
• Attending and actively participating in all required meetings to ensure strong communication and professional development
• Participating in regular meetings with their coach to support their development
• Utilizing data from student observations as well as summative and formative assessments to inform instruction
• Teaching and enforcing school-wide systems and structures
• Participating in whole school events and home visits to help build strong trusting relationships with students and their families
