Teacher Associate (2026-2027)

BRICK is seeking a Teacher Associate to provide classroom coverage and instruction in the absence of a teacher. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the academic success and personal development of students, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience working with children.

Requirements

• Demonstrate proficiency in working with black and brown students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and collaborative classroom environment
• Support or lead the execution of network-adopted unit and lesson plans
• Attend and actively participate in required meetings
• Collaborate with coaches and peers to learn and share best practices
• Utilize data to inform instruction and adjust as needed
