BridgePhase is a software engineering company looking for a Platform Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps. They will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native platforms and infrastructure, and create clear documentation and materials to bridge the gap between complex technical systems and end-users.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS services and architecture best practices
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Podman
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, particularly GitLab
- Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Knowledge of networking concepts and implementation in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools like ArgoCD or Flux
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) is beneficial
- Proficient technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Experience creating technical documentation, visual aids, diagrams, and instructional design
- Active Secret Clearance is required
- B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent
