Automotive Senior Technician

The Senior Technician position requires technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, with leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Diagnose and repair to specifications
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair
• Current federal, state and local certification/license
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
• Reading, writing and math skills
• Preferred: 3 years of automotive repair experience
• A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8
