The Senior Technician position requires technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, with leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Diagnose and repair to specifications
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology
- Assist and train technicians/mechanics
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license
- Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems
- Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair
- Current federal, state and local certification/license
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- Reading, writing and math skills
- Preferred: 3 years of automotive repair experience
- A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8
