Technician

Join the Vision Team at Midwest Eye Consultants – Shelbyville as a friendly and motivated Optometric Technician. We provide hands-on training, experienced trainers, and a mentor to help you learn everything you need to succeed. This role involves working closely with doctors and patients to ensure each visit runs smoothly, performing preliminary and ancillary eye testing, and assisting doctors during procedures.

Requirements

• Collect important patient information and histories
• Perform preliminary and ancillary eye testing
• Prepare patients for their eye exams
• Assist doctors during procedures
• Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience
