Staff Technical Product Manager

Join Bright Machines as a Senior/Staff Technical Product Manager to own the vision and long-term strategy for our robotics software and controls platform. Define and drive a multi-year roadmap, translate executive strategy into system-level product requirements, and lead cross-functional prioritization across robotics software, real-time controls, perception systems, ML pipelines, and hardware interfaces.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience in robotics, next-gen automation, AI/ML systems, or complex software-driven hardware platforms.
• Demonstrated ownership of platform-level products with multi-team impact.
• Strong technical fluency in robotics software, controls systems, perception, ML-enabled production systems, and hardware/software integration.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and shaping investment decisions.
• Track record of defining and delivering differentiated platform capabilities in competitive markets.
• Experience operating in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments with strong engineering cultures.
• Exceptional communication skills — able to move fluidly between engineers, executives, and customers.
