Job Description
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced MAINFRAME DEVELOPER for a multi-year project in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in COBOL, DB2, Web Services, JCL, and batch processing on the mainframe, as well as strong documentation skills.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in computer programming or related discipline
- Minimum 8-15 years of relevant experience in application development
- Strong COBOL development and coding skills
- Experience with iSeries, Unisys, and/or other mainframe technologies
- Knowledge of industry standard software design patterns, development, data modelling, and SOLID principals
- Ability to resolve architectural problems including scalability, performance, reliability, usability & security
