Job Description
The Certified Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant position provides direct therapeutic services to children with disabilities or developmental delays, carrying out treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating families and community partners. This role is responsible for providing hands-on therapy, developing home treatment programs, and ensuring effective carryover of the therapy program. The position requires a degreed and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Preferred experience includes prior experience in ECI, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a family-centered service organization, as well as bilingual skills in Spanish.
Requirements
- Degreed and current Texas Licensure in Certified Occupational Therapy Assistance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access, as well as Adobe
- Prior experience in ECI, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a family-centered service organization
- Bilingual in Spanish
