Job Description
Brightspeed is looking for a Site Survey Engineer to conduct detailed site assessments to support engineering and construction projects, collecting and analyzing data to ensure accurate planning and execution of projects.
Requirements
- Performing on-site surveys using GPS, pictures, videos and other applicable equipment and applications
- Initiating and managing negotiations with building or private property stakeholders to secure entrance rights
- Collecting and analyzing data to support design and construction planning, to include in-building details and facility entrance
- Preparing detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using CAD and or GIS software
- Coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements
- Identifying potential site constraints and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land use and construction as well as NESC compliance on pole attachments
- Maintaining accurate records of survey data and project documentation
- Assisting in the development of site layouts and utility plans
