
Job description
The Safety Coordinator will focus on creating and enforcing a culture of health and safety for employees, subcontractors, and the general public on project sites. This person must be a strong, safety-oriented individual who will collaborate with the Operations team to ensure a work environment that is focused on accident prevention and risk mitigation/management.
Monitor safety efforts of subcontractors and Brinkmann employees, conduct documented Project Safety and Health Inspections, investigate all injuries and review all accident reports, and maintain OSHA 300 log of injuries and illnesses.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills, and be able to work with all construction groups: management, owners, trades and subcontractors.
