Medical Science Liaison, Cell Therapy Autoimmune (CTAI) is a member of a field-based team of scientists who function as an extension of the US Medical Affairs organization, providing medical information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced manner and providing clinical/scientific support for our Cell Therapy Autoimmune products at Bristol Myers Squibb in coordination with our Medical Affairs Department.
Requirements
- Identify, establish and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator initiated research.
- Develop and execute geography-specific Field Medical and KOL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives and KOL needs.
- Partner with other BMS MSL teams to achieve CTAI objectives and goals with rheumatologists and hematologists
- Support patient education initiatives, serving as subject matter expert on BMS pipeline and investigational therapies
- Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in academic and healthcare provider settings in both group and one-on-one situations.
- Collaborate with the Clinical research and development organization to enhance patient enrolment in BMS-sponsored clinical trials by identifying appropriate trial sites and actively interacting with participating investigators.
- Provide scientific support at National, Regional and Local medical congresses/meetings.
- Capture and provide timely feedback/insights to internal stakeholders regarding the cell therapy and autoimmune treatment landscape for strategy development.
