Senior Manager, Operations Research and Analytics Development

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Research and Analytics Development to partner with SMEs across the Analytics Development organization to design, build, and scale core tools that serve as the technical foundation for analytics solutions.

Requirements

• PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative STEM field
• 2–3 years of professional experience, preferably in industry, building and deploying analytics and operations research solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in Python software engineering for complex production or production-adjacent systems
• Strong experience with Git and modern collaborative workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, code review, and release/version management
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) within practical software development workflows
• Strong grounding in one or more of the following: optimization, simulation, stochastic modeling, and risk modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor technical content for senior business and technical audiences
